The All Things Go Fall Classic’s Saturday set will spotlight an all-female lineup specially curated in collaboration with Maggie Rogers and Lizzy Plapinger (LPX).
“Almost a year ago, Lizzy and I dreamed of creating a more diverse music festival culture that celebrates the artistry, individuality, and vision of our peers. Amplifying the voices of female and non-binary artists is the first step towards permanently changing a culture that for so long has under represented these essential members of the global artistic community. I’m so proud to be a part of All Things Go and to share a stage with these artists I so deeply believe in.”
– Maggie Rogers
This year’s festival will feature a partnership with Women’s March for their national voter registration and mobilization effort, Power to the Polls. The initiative builds upon Women’s March’s ongoing work uplifting the voices and campaigns of the nation’s most marginalized communities to create transformative social and political change.
Supporting, uniting, and highlighting female voices is something that is deeply important to me, as a woman, as an artist and as a record label. This collaboration was born out of a shared desire and necessity for better representation and opportunity for more women and non binary artists within festival culture. I’m thrilled to work hand in hand with Maggie and longtime friends All Things Go, to curate and perform alongside some of our shared favorite up and coming acts with an eye towards shining a light on future female festival heavyweights. I hope this is one more step in the right direction to bring festival line ups closer to a 50/50 billing, and equal representation in the music industry in general.
